An Outreach Committee shall determine strategies, outlets, pathways, and ambassadors that will enable the organization to educate young women on the audiovisual and IT industry in an effort to encourage young women to enter the industry workforce.
Initiatives
- Create and manage the WAVE of Influence Mentorship program.
- Develop a stepped strategy for outreach, identifying avenues (K12 schools, technical schools, colleges and universities, etc) through which to introduce the industry
- Create a FAQ presentation/ document/ video to share with avenues to help promote the industry
- Create a variety of activities for hands on explanations and promotion of skillsets
